The jewelry is plated with 22k gold. However, all metal for assembly is gold plated wire.

The jewelry itself will not tarnish. However, when exposed to moisture the gold plated wire may tarnish. Because of this, it's not advised to wear these in the shower.

Pairs of earrings from Nala Studio are lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all day. For perspective, most pairs weigh between 2-4g. A standard quarter weighs roughly 6g.
